"93 'til Infinity"

NYC MARATHON 2014

Those who knew Mike would say the same thing – he was the kind of family & friend you wanted around - the one who would drop everything to help out, would give you the shirt off his back, show up with a gift for your Mom or baby for no good reason at all. Mike was a St. Francis Prep and St John’s alum who joined the FDNY in 2016. In his spare time, Mike volunteered at SFP as a football coach, played hockey & softball, and hung out with his bestie pup, Brody. He had a love for WuTang and the Mets, Rangers, and Jets.

Mike loved the camaraderie of being in his house, E324/Division14, “a true Corona Cowboy” and at the Fire Academy. To put into words what Mike meant to us and to others is a hard task. Mike never complained about his battles and you would never know what he was up against. He put on a smile day in and day out. He embraced all that life had to offer - living every moment to his fullest potential. He was larger than life and always made others around him better. He was truly courageous; a warrior and forever our hero.
